Fashion weeks have ended and a new season has unfolded. It's time to refresh your wardrobe with new additions. But before you head to your favourite store, we'd like to implore you to take a gander at what's been abuzz — and what's making our hearts aflutter — this season. We've been treated to all kinds of prints this season, and we're definitely not complaining. Ahead, different prints for different style reasons.

For a weekend with the girls

Dress from Loewe Spring/Summer 2019

Leave your sundresses behind and opt for a modern take on stripes with this dress from Loewe. The asymmetrical placement of the lines and the variety of colours give a fun spin to the traditional pattern. Pair it with thong sandals for quiet walks by the beach or put on a pair of wedge espadrilles if you want a bit more height.

For a jampacked day at the office

Trousers from Dior

Liven up your day at work and shake up your routine by throwing on a piece of clothing that will inspire you to sport a brighter disposition. Give your neutrals a bit of rest and rock a pair of pants with watercolour print.  Wear it with your favourite sensible blouse if you're a bit scared of the loud print. Tone it down even more with simple black pumps. Or if you're in for a style challenge, pair it with a blouse that has a bright colour that's found in the pattern.

For cooler days ahead

Coat from Bally Spring/Summer 2019 collection

Whether you're staying in your homeland or going somewhere colder during the holiday season, you need a coat that will not only make you feel warm but also complement your style. Instead of the usual black or brown coats, opt for this plaid number instead for a more fun take on the staple. The plaid is not too striking so it won't be hard to pair but it's also bold enough that it's easy for you to spot and don.

For a date night

Matching set from Dolce and Gabbana

When you think of a date night outfit, a floral number is a no-brainer. But why not give the beloved print a modern spin with this ensemble? The individual flowers printed in such a way that they mimic a stained glass is a refreshing way to sport the print. Pair it with a plain pair of shoes and as a structured bag for a streamlined look.

For a cocktail party

Dress from Valentino

Don't get us wrong, we definitely love the classics. But we say brighten up your going-out wardrobe by leaving your trusted little black dress behind. Arrest attention with this lively pink dress with a print that's a mixture of sweet and quirky. Go for classic shoes for a polished look or go all out maximalist with a playful pair.
